Christmas Made in the South · Nov 13–15, 2026 · Savannah Convention Center
Headed to Christmas Made in the South? Book your rides before you land.
I’m Gary “Chris” Lamb, owner of Live Oak Airport Taxi. If you’re flying in for the show — to exhibit or to shop — I’ll get you from the airport to your hotel and over to the Savannah Convention Center on Hutchinson Island: fixed fare, flight tracked, booked in advance.
Your ride for show weekend
Christmas Made in the South fills the Savannah Convention Center from Friday, November 13 through Sunday, November 15, 2026 — hundreds of artists and craftsmen, and thousands of shoppers crossing the bridge to Hutchinson Island each day.
Exhibitors: load-in day is Thursday, November 12. Flights, freight, and setup are enough to juggle without gambling on a ride at the curb. Book your airport pickup now and I’ll be tracking your flight — when you land at SAV, I’m there, and we go straight to the Convention Center.
Shoppers and visitors: stay downtown, ride over each morning, and get dropped at the door. No bridge traffic math, no parking hunt on the island, and a ride back across the river when your hands are full of bags.
The way I run it is simple: fixed fares, confirmed before you book. The price you see is the price you pay — the flat fare between SAV Airport and downtown Savannah is $30, and every other trip, including rides to and from the Convention Center, is priced upfront in the form below. Up to 4 passengers per vehicle, standard passenger vehicles only.
Book your ride
Enter your pickup and destination to see your fixed fare and book online in minutes. Coming in for the weekend? Book your ride back to the airport too, and it’s locked in before you arrive.
Midweek in Savannah moves a little slower — and so does my calendar. Tuesday and Wednesday rides are wide open: airport runs, Tybee, Hilton Head, downtown. Book at liveoaktaxisav.com — the price you see is the price you pay.

Meet Your Driver
You're riding with the man who wrote the history of this coast
I'm Gary "Chris" Lamb — Savannah local, history graduate, and author of the Sea Islands Freedom novels, set right here during the Civil War. The ground I write about is the ground I drive on every day. Book your ride, and if you're curious about the stories under these streets, just ask.
Questions from exhibitors and visitors
I am an exhibitor. Can you get me there for load-in?
Yes — exhibitor load-in is Thursday, November 12, the day before the show opens. Book your airport pickup in advance and I will track your flight into Savannah/Hilton Head International (SAV) and be waiting when you land, then take you straight to the Savannah Convention Center on Hutchinson Island.
What does a ride cost?
Fares are fixed and shown before you book — the price you see is the price you pay, no surge and no meter running. The flat fare between SAV Airport and downtown Savannah is $30. Trips to the Convention Center on Hutchinson Island and everywhere else are priced upfront in the booking form.
How many passengers can you take?
Up to 4 passengers per vehicle. Live Oak runs standard passenger vehicles — no shuttle vans or buses — so your group rides together in one car.
Where is the show, and where do I stay?
Christmas Made in the South runs Friday, November 13 through Sunday, November 15, 2026 at the Savannah Convention Center on Hutchinson Island, just across the river from downtown. Most visitors stay in downtown hotels and ride across the bridge — book ahead and you get dropped at the door instead of hunting for parking on show days.
