Midweek in Savannah moves a little slower — and so does my calendar. Tuesday and Wednesday rides are wide open: airport runs, Tybee, Hilton Head, downtown. Book at liveoaktaxisav.com — the price you see is the price you pay.
Meet Your Driver
You're riding with the man who wrote the history of this coast
I'm Gary "Chris" Lamb — Savannah local, history graduate, and author of the Sea Islands Freedom novels, set right here during the Civil War. The ground I write about is the ground I drive on every day. Book your ride, and if you're curious about the stories under these streets, just ask.
The guaranteed, prepaid ride home
Getting to a show is rarely the problem — getting home is. After the final song, the venue empties at once and rides become scarce and expensive. That is why we position this service as a guaranteed, prepaid ride home.
You book and pay for both legs in advance, in a single booking. Your outbound trip and your return are both reserved, so the end of your night is already handled.

View EventFrequently Asked Questions
What does "prepaid roundtrip" mean?
You book and pay for both directions in advance: the trip to the venue and the trip home. Your return ride is guaranteed and reserved, so you do not have to arrange a ride after the event.
Why is the ride home the important part?
After a show, demand for rides far outstrips supply and prices spike. A prepaid roundtrip locks in your ride home before the night begins, so you are not competing for a car at the curb.
Where is pickup at the venue?
Rideshare and taxi pickup is in Lot F. Your driver will meet you there at the agreed time for your return trip.
How is my fare calculated?
Your fare is calculated live by the booking system from the trip distance and the Live Oak distance-based taxi rate. The price shown before you confirm is the price for your trip.
